I would be interrested in Actions for reading Text out of TextBoxes, ComboBoxes, Lists, Labels and so on. That would be a great feature for automizing Windows GUI-Testing which is a very time consuming task. I think of something like UnitTesting of GUIs.
It would be great too, if the GUI Automation actions would be added to FinalBuilder.
I agree this would be very useful. I’ve added it to the Automise to-do list.
Unfortunately, it’s something which will only work reliably in 80-90% of cases, sometimes the internal implementation of a program makes it hard for us to read text from it.
