FinalBuilder 5.0.0.130
Script A includes Script B. Inside B, there is a visual studio 6.0 action which is set to build just the release configuration. If run by itself, it does this. If I run A, which includes B, it builds all configurations for that action.
Any ideas?
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your post. I can’t guess why it might be doing this.
I take it that where you say “Script” you mean “FinalBuilder Project”? Would it possible for you to please send us both project files (.fbz5 or .fbp5) and the log file (.fbl5) so we can take a look at what’s happening? If you could zip them and send them to support@finalbuilder.com, that would be great.
Regards,
Angus
Hi Michael
Are you using variables to specify which configuration gets built? If so, it may be a change in behavior with the Include Project action between the version you were using before you upgraded (I seem to recall you guys upgraded recently?). Have a look and see if the “Share Host Project Variables Namespace” option is checked. This option will impact on whether variables in the included project have the expected values or not. You can use the Log Variable Values action in the included project to help diagnose the problem.

I can’t repro this now
But I think it may have to do with what you were saying about the version of the project files. I upgraded them all to fb5 and it seems ok. Thanks for the response.
