VS.Net Build Action issue

Hi,

We are using final Builder 5.5.0.518 to build our .Net Solutions,

1.) Our Harware Information Windows XP SP3 , RAM is 2GB
2.) We try to Build our .NET solution using (Build VS.Net Solution) action and solution configuration are shown below
- Configuration : Release|Any CPU
- VS.Net Version : VS.NET 2005
- Action : Build

3.) Final builder takes nearly 20 Minutes to build .Net Solution,
4.) If i build the same solution in VS 2005 IDE it takes below 5 minutes
5.) Please clarify why Final builder takes that much of time to build VS.Net Solution?

Hi Palanisamy,

It’s impossible for us to determine why the project is taking longer to build using FinalBuilder without seeing both the Visual Studio build output and the action’s output. My guess would be that the action is doing more work then the VS IDE, but that’s just a guess.
