Hi
I have downloaded the current Version of Finalbuilder (V6.3). The Version 7.01 from the VMWare is installed and one vm ist running
When i try to get a list i got the following error:
Unable to connect host
Error: The specified version was not found
Action failed with Return Code -1
I have used the Action "VMware - List Virtual Machines"
With following parameters:
HostType: VMware Workstation
HostName: blank
Athentication: I have tested both, blank and AD User
In the Options for VMware i have set the VMRun path to the installation path of the vmware workstation.
My OS: Win7 64Bit
What i do wrong?

Could you download the ViX API 1.8.1 from the following URL and set FinalBuilder to use the vmrun.exe utility that’s included with it and let us know whether you still get the same error?

The same result.
I have tried to use the command “vmrun -T ws list” in a cmd box. Same error as above!
The next test was to list the vmares of an esx server, the same result!

I have solved the problem with downloading and reinstalling the VixCom 1.8.1 version
(http://www.vmware.com/downloads/download.do?downloadGroup=VIX-API-181)
