"VisualStudio installation not found" reported when it is installed and configured

I get a validation error from FB 6 .3.0.1712 saying:

 

"Visualstudio.NET options :  Visual Studio installation not found : \devenv.com"

 

I click on this warning (a great idea!) and it takes me to  "FinalBuilder options- Visual Studio.NET"

Here I then set up the deven.com location for VS 2008 (to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE )  and set the default VS version to "Visual Studio.NET 2008" in the drop down list.

 

I hit ok and then F5 and the same validation error remains.  (And yes devenv.com does exist in the folder specified - see attached screen shot)

 

I marked this as a bug as ether the error is something else and the error message is therefore wrong or possibly FB has not recognized I have changed the setting).  When I press ok on the option dialog could you not check to see if the devenv.com file exists?  And if it is not bug where did I go wrong?

Ah the issue was that in the action Build VS.net solution I had VS.NET version set to 2005 (as it was a pure C++ project I did not expect this to have any relevance!). Maybe the error message could be tweaked to say "Visualstudio.NET options :VERSIONXXX Visual Studio installation not found : \devenv.com" instead
