Team Foundation Server Check-In Pending Changes

I am using the Team Foundation Server Check-In Pending Changes action and cannot get the action to check-in new files. I've tried both settings in the action dialog window (Check-in All Pending Changes, Check-in Just the following Files & Directories). Neither setting checks-in any new file.

Is there a way to force check-in of ALL files in a local working directory? Is there something else I need to do to get new files checked in to TFS source control?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your post. I’ve emailed you from inside the support system, but here’s a copy of that email for completeness (please only reply in one place or the other, this gets confusing! :).)

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your email. You are using the “Team Foundation Add” action to create the “add” operation(s) before you use the Check-In Pending Changes action, right? If so, what is the output from the Add action?

If you create Add operations with the TF Add action, but are unable to check the changes in, then what happens when you view the working folder in Visual Studio 2005? Do you see the Add operations as pending?

Please let us know how you go.
