I would like to be able to post the system events to a syslog server so that CI events are included in our SIEM system.

We can add this to our v2 branch. Our v2 branch, which is built on .net 5, uses Serilog for logging. Serilog has several “sinks” for sending log messages to various log services and files and this includes syslog servers. We don’t have an exact timeframe for the v2 release, but we’re working on it.
