I just spent the last hour going crazy, but in the end I found a bug for you guys.
Using SubString action with text searching, if the end search is nothing but a double-quote ("), then the operation returns nothing (does not fail though).
I was tearing my hair out. Luckily in my output, I was able to add something after it and search on (",) and all was well. This is in 2338.
Also, while you’re in there, the option “End String Reverse Direction Search” is checked by default and that doesn’t seem right.
I’m not able to reproduce this, can you send a sample project that shows this to support so I make sure I’m testing the same thing?
I agree the reverse option shouldn’t be on by default, we’ll change that for the next update.
