Send MSN Message Problem

I'm trying out the FinalBuilder 6 Evaluation version.

I'm making a build process now, which need to send the result to an MSN Adres.

I need to make a notifier to MSN.

When i'm trying to send a MSN Message with a finalbuilder action it gives an error. This is the output:

Connecting to MSN Server messenger.hotmail.com...
An error occured trying to connect:
A connecting error occured : SocketMessageProcessor failed to connect to the specified endpoint. See the inner exception for more information.
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 65.54.239.210:1863

 

The finalbuilder settings for Msn Messenger Server are:

MSN Server Address: messenger.hotmail.com
MSN Server Port: 1863

I'm not connecting via a proxy

 

Msn Messenger is working perfectly on my computer.

I hope you guys can help me with this problem.

Hi Frederick,

I’m using the same connection options here to connect to the messenger service and it’s working without any problems, do you know whether it’s required that you use a proxy to connect to outside services (I believe that Live Messenger will use the settings configured in Internet Explorer)?

Hi Paul,

Messenger Live is working perfectly, and a proxy is not required here.

My setting in Internet Explorer are clean.
