Send Email, SMTP, and Windows Authentication

Our SMTP server is setup to require Windows Authentication, yet I cannot get the Send Email action to send an email. I have tried different combinations of settings, such as checking the Authenticate check box and specifying credentials, checking that box and not specifying credentials, unchecking the user EHLO check box, things like that. I cannot get it to work.

How do I get the Send Email action to send an emaiul through our SMTP server (running on the same machine) that requires Windows Authentication to send?

Hi Corey,

Thanks for your post. What SMTP server and version are you using?

If you log the output from the Send Email action, do you see anything unusual? Is the SMTP server set to require a secure connection?
