Run FinalBuilder on Remote machine

 Hi,

 

Curently i'm working with FinalBuilder 6 Professional Edition.

Our build processes based on remote machines. From main FinalBuilder project we executing FinalBuilder projects on remote machines through psexec.

 

The question is: Is there a integrated in FinalBuilder 6 or 7 way to execute FinalBuilder project on remote machine, and:

1. Get appropriate realtime logs.

2. Have ability to stop execution of FinalBuilder project on remote machine manually at any time.

 

 

If there is no such integrated feature. Please tell if it's planned to be in FinalBuilder and when.

Hi

There is no integrated feature to do this in FinalBuilder, and no plans at this time. You can however use FinalBuilder Server, which gives you a web interface to starting/stopping builds, viewing logs etc.

Hi,

I am new to finalBuilder. Could you please tell me how can we run the final builder projects from remote machine using Psexec. Shall we need to pass any arguments?

Please give steps, since I  am a new user.

Hi Vinoth

You can run a project using FBCMD by simple passing in the project file to run as an argument. See the the following help topic for details for FBCMD command line syntax:
