Problems with MS SourceSafe

Hi,

we are now using FB for the automated build. MS SourceSafe never attracted much attention - maybe it is just documentated now ;-) - but getting all files from it fails quite often. Is that normal?

Hi Christian

What you are seeing are the classic signs of source safe repositiory corruption. Make sure all users are out of source safe and run the analyze tool over the repository. I have experienced this myself several times, all many years ago (I stopped using VSS in 2000 or 2001 because of the corruption problems).
