I upgraded our Installshield pro 11 project (with .ism project, was originally a Installshield Developer Project), and then installed FB4. When I run FB4 it errors out at the installsgield project (the path for the installshiled Developer 7.x or higher is correctly set to C:\Program Files\Macrovision\IS12\System\IsCmdBld.exe)
But when i run Installshiled, it run fine without any issues. FB4 just shows “error” none of the logs are showing anything useful. I must be missing something here. Please help.

We have not yet added support for IS 12. At this stage we do not yet have the product, so I cannot say whether the command line parameters etc have changed. Support for IS 12 will be added in the next few weeks.

We are planning to use FinalBuilder to automate builds which uses the following software
1. .Net Framework 2.0, Installshield 12 for Windows (Premier)
2. JDK 1.5, InstallShield Multiplatform 11.5
Does the latest version of FinalBuilder support these software ?
If not, please let me know whats the time frame for FinalBuilder release with support for the latest version of the above mentioned software.

.NET 2.0 is supported. We have not yet tested with IS 12, however we have had some users report that the current IS suport works fine with IS 12 (for windows installer projects.
JDK 1.5 is supported in the Java compiler action. Installsheild Multiplatform 11.5 may be supported with the Installshield Universal action however we have not yet been able to test this.
I cannot give you an accurate timeframe for when IS12 will be officially supported, since we cannot possibly purchase every new tool on the market, it sometimes takes time to organise a copy for integration testing (and in this case our old contact at Installshield is no longer there, so we have to start again in terms of finding out who to speak to).
All I can suggest is that you download our fully functional 30 day evaluation version and test to see if the product suits your needs.
