Perforce Sync Question

Hi all :

    I want to sync perforce files to another folder ( not the default client root).
    So I modified the "override Start in Directory " value  in "Depot and Files" tab in "Perforce Sync" function
    But it still sync to the default client root .

    Does anyone know how to solve this question ?

I don’t think you can get Perforce to sync outside of a defined client workspace. If you want to sync to another directory, you need to setup another client workspace with a different root.

Also, according to the FB Help doc, the “Override Start in Directory” only changes where p4 is run from.
