The Perforce Create Branch only creates a branchspec, right? It doesn’t actually branch the file… (or does it).
Thanks,

Speaking to the actual perforce command, the “Perforce Branch” command only creates a spec. The “Perforce integrate” command is what you use to actually branch the file either by specifying the branch or the files. I used branchspecs when I started with perforce, but then found it was easier just to use integrate specifying the source and destination (with the -i -d options to make sure it actually gets all the files).
Thanks,I know the actual P4 command I was hoping in FB is is doing both actions, because a Create Branch action without the integrate is half job.So do you actually create the branches from within FB?
