Output Monitor Save Match Count to Variable forces actions to succeed

I use the Save Match Count to variable output monitor on a subversion action.  I found that even when subversion failed with exit code 1, the action would still succeed.  I narrowed this down to the Save Match Count to variable output monitor I had on it.  I then tried adding a similar output monitor to the raise exception action and that also succeeds.
