When I try copy more than one variable, I get exception.
Steps for reproduction:
1. Create new project
2. Open Variables Editor dialog (Tools/Edit Variables…)
3 Create 4 variables (P_1, P_2, P_3, P_4)
4 Select all variables
5 Press Ctrl+C
6 Press Ctrl+V
7 MessageBox with “A Variable named: P_1 - already exist”, press OK And we have a window with “An error ocurred in the application.”
I tried use this window and send you bug report (button “mail bug report”), but your wizard made for me letter with attachment, but with blank field “TO”.
It’ small bug, but I hope my information will be useful for you.
Hi Sergey,
I can’t reproduce this myself - I just get the “a variable named XX already exists” errors (which is correct behaviour.)
If you can get the error dialog with the bug report again, the To: address should be support@finalbuilder.com (this should be filled in, it’s odd that it is not.) If you send us the bug report as an attachment, we can sort it out.
Regards,
Angus
I send email with bug report to this address. If you need any additional information - feel free to ask me about this bug.
Blank field TO - may be is it because my email client incorrect create email? (I use The Bat! 3.80.03 if it’s important)
And some small mistake yet about this wizard. In the field “Subject” generated “Auto : FB4 Bug Report!”, but I use FB5 (5.0.0.53).
Thanks.
Hi Sergey,
Thanks. We got the bug report OK, it was actually a bug which was fixed in an earlier test build. I sent you an email with the link.
As for the “Auto FB4” mistake, we’ll fix that as well.
Regards,
Angus
