Greetings!
We use Finalbuilder v3 with Perforce.
Will our project files open transparently move to v6?
Anything to look out for?
(We are looking to move to v6 Server)
Thanks!!!

Hi Rafael,
Thanks for your post. You should be fine. FB 3 projects should open directly in FB 6, and can be re-saved in the FB 6 project format. There is also a “batch project upgrade” feature under the File menu, if you need to upgrade multiple projects.
Regards,
Angus
A perforce question:
We have several, large (means 90-250 actions per project), FB3 projects.
In FB3, there is the ‘old’ Perforce plugin, and the ‘new’ Perforce plugin.
Our older FB3 projects use the old one, and the newer projects use… wait for it… the new one…
When these projects migrate to FB6:
a) Can FB6 continue to use the older perforce plugin?
(if so how do we get it in there?)
b) Or must we migrate everything?
The old Perforce actions are still in FB6 (but they are marked as deprecated).
Wow. That is really cool.
Thanks!!!
