Is FinalBuilder up to next generation IDE (VStudio 2005/7/8 and .NET)

Hello

First, I'm new here

I've got a question.

Is FinalBuilder up to the next generation IDE like Visual Studio 2005/7/8/.Net?

Thanks for your answers!

Regards,

Christof

Hi Christof,

Welcome to the community. Glad to see you’re getting into FinalBuilder.

To answer your question, I’m not quite sure what you mean by “up to”. However:

- FinalBuilder can build projects created by Visual Studio 2003, 2005 and 2008 (that’s 7, 8, and 9.) ()

- The FinalBuilder IDE provides an excellent way to create a build process, but it’s not a software development IDE - you still need somewhere to write the code. FinalBuilder just lets you automate the build process in an quick, easy, functional, powerful and maintainable way.

I hope that answers your question. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Regards,

Angus

(
) Visual Studio 2008 support is currently available in FinalBuilder “test builds”. Now 2008 has been released to MSDN an “official build” with 2008 support will be out this week. You didn’t ask about VS 2008 anyhow, so I’ll assume you don’t need a download link.

Hi Angus
