I am trying to exclude certain folders from a backup we are doing via FTP mirror. I can’t seem to get this to work. Can you include whole folders with multiple sub folders within them?
I had tried using a File Mask type and an exclude value of WWW/ugc/_archive/* which is the folder location.

Yes this should work. My thought is that potentially the string being used in the match doesn’t exactly match the initial part of the folder to exclude.
I suggest setting up a test script where verbose logging is turned on. It should report what it sees as the file names when mirroring (in either direction). From this you should get a clearer idea of what the file mask should be. Let me know how that goes.
If it still doesn’t work please feel free to send me the test script with the connection details removed. I will also need to know the FTP server your working with, there may be compatibility issues with regards to how it returns folder/file names.
