Finalbuilder /P parameter

When I run either Finalbuilder5.exe or FBCMD.exe the /P parameter may fail.  It seems that with FBCMD, the "/P" does not like having a space between it and the project that I am running. And the reverse is true for Finalbuilder5.  It wants a Space between it.  What I see happen in the GUID(finalbuilder5.exe) it will then default to opening the last project instead of the one I want to point to.  This would be okay, but if the project are in two locations with same name,  I could try and run from the other location and NOT the one I am working on!

Hi Dennis,

If you just want to open the project (not run it) then you don’t need the /P parameter at all, for the UI.

I’ll try and straighten out these inconsistencies, anyhow. We did some work for FB 5 on trying to make the command line interfaces almost identical.

Angus

Angus,

Thanks, It is something the feedback but we try and keep the same command line for both and we do run the project with the /P both in CMD line interace and the GUI!
