FinalBuilder and TortoiseSVN

Hi.

 

I use TortoiseSVN for my client version control tool and I would like to check out files from TortoiseSVN in a FinalBuilder script. The Subversion server is remote.

When I do, FB complains that it cannot find svn.exe . There is no svn.exe on my system. Tortoise does not include this file.

What do I need to download and install in order for FB to be able to checkout from Subversion? I have googled around, and I dont think svn.exe even exists. Please advise.

TortoiseSVN is not a version control system, it’s a client that manifests itself as a explorer shell extension, and it cannot be automated by FB. You will need to download a Subversion client (svn.exe) to use from FB.
