Hi,
I upgraded my Finalbuilder server 6.0.314 and Finalbuilder 6.0.574 to Finalbuilder server 6.1.0.467 and Finalbuilder 6.1.891.
I didn't get any errors during the upgrade. I also did update with using the finalbuilder server configuration program.
Logging service stopped working, and rebooting of the computer didn't make it work either.
So I had to first uninstall and then reinstall finalbuilder server back to 6.0.314 and Finalbuilder 6.0.574.

Hi Arsi, Thanks for sending that information in, unfortunatly their are no errors being reported by the logging service. If you upgrade again, could you see whether removing the log files fixes the issue, if it does, could you compress the entire FBServer6 configuration directory and send it into support [at] finalbuilder.com (if its not too big).
To remove the log files, stop all the FinalBuilder Server services and rename the FBServer6 directory in 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VSoft\'. When the services are re-started the directory will be created again, with no projects/logs (to revert back to your configuration, just stop the services, delete the new FBServer6 folder, and rename the original back to FBServer6).
Edit: We've been able to reproduce the problem you're experiencing, I'll let you know as soon as we have a fix for it.

Hi Arsi,
The problem that you are experiencing is caused by the Logging Service upgrading your existing log files (we’ve added a new index on one of the log tables). You’ll know when the upgrading has completed when the CPU usage of the logging service process drops back to ~0%. It took roughly 30 minutes on one of our log files which was 5g in size.
We’ll release a new build soon which lets the user know that this is happening, instead of just reporting that the logging service could not be contacted.
