Does final builder support TestComplete 7 projects?

No, we do not support Test Complete 7, and it’s unlikely that we will (it’s a competitors product). If it has a command line tool then you should be able to call it using the Execute Program action.
Bummer. We’re putting together a proof-of-concept to purchase FinalBuilder 6 and TestComplete 7, to add automated testing to our CI process.
I think your attitude is the wrong way around - by not supporting TestComplete 7, you’re actually pushing us to look at AutomatedBuildStudio rather than FinalBuilder. We really like FinalBuilder, but this could be a deal-breaker. Sure we could do some command-line Execute Program action, but that defeats the purpose of FinalBuilder.
It can’t be that hard to bring the TestComplete plugin support from v4 to v7 can it???

I understand what you are saying. Until now, we have not had a copy of the software. Back in the days when AQA were FB users (before they decided to compete with us) we always had free access to the product for integration purposes. I have attempted to download the trial several times but never received the download email… not sure why. It’s difficult to know what changes (if any) are required without actually having the software.
I tried again and did receive the email, and have downloaded and installed TC 7.2. I started FB6, added a TC 4/5/6 action, pointed it to a sample project TC and ran it. FB6 detected TC7, and the test ran fine with no modifications required in FB at all. I will update the action to show that it supports TC7 today.

It would be lame of AutomatedQA to deny you access to TestComplete. As a (soon to be) customer of both VSoft and AutomatedQA, I’ll be happy to let them know that.
