I've struggled with the Exclude feature of the FileSet action for over an hour and I just cannot get it to work. It's totally inconsistent and just does not exclude what it's supposed to.
I've tried these combinations to try to get it to exclude a specific folder in some path:
\SomeFolder\SomeOtherFolder\examples\
\SomeFolder\SomeOtherFolder\examples
\SomeFolder\SomeOtherFolder\examples\*.*
If I have only one exclusion, it MIGHT work.
If I have two, the first one will almost always work, the second will NEVER work.
If I swap them, then the path that was in the second (that is now in the first) will magically start working, but the other path (that is now in the second) will not work.
Then I've tried moving things around, tweaking, whatever, and the feature is just not working.
Normally this would not be frustrating since bugs in software happen, but this is happening while I'm trying to put out a fire and so my frustration is just skyrocketing ;-)
Is there anyone who can help with this feature? I want to have perhaps a half dozen exclusions that point to a specific path.
That said, I HAVE gotten it to work by cheating (doing something I don't want to do):
example\*.*
It seemed to work when relative and not including the whole path.
Using the most recent version of FinalBuilder.
Thanks!
