File contents iterator and Unicode

 I am currently evaluating FinalBuilder and I am trying to use the file contents iterator, but it doesn't appear to understand Unicode.

The file I'm attempting to read is a double byte file with a byte order mark at the beginning.

Is there a way to iterate through Unicode files?

Hi Nick

FB6 is not fully unicode aware. FB7 (which is currently in a private beta, publuc beta next week hopefully) will have full support for Unicode.

Hi Nick,

FinalBuilder 6 does not have unicode support, FinalBuilder 7, which is very close to being available as a public beta, does have support for unicode.

Thanks, good to know. If we purchase now, will we be able to upgrade without further cost?

Using a Powershell script got me over this particular problem.

Hi Nick,

So long as you purchase FinalBuilder 6 with software assurance then you will receive the upgrade for no further cost, otherwise you’ll need to purchase an upgrade.
