Some of our employees use the build server as a source for artifacts. They simply download files.
For downloading files, you have to go site, to the configuration, into the build, click artifacts and then click the download link.
I am currently thinking about doing this faster.
My first thought is a context menu / dropdown link at the configuration screen or any build item on any screen:
click (right click) on a recent (or on history tab) build and move down the artifacts menu. maybe this required categorizing artifacts and/or additionally a requirement to mark them to be included in the context menu if you have many artifacts. so this menu would just show the “published” artifacts defined by the configuration author.
maybe you already have some ideas on your backlog.
btw: thanks again for this great piece of software.
Hi Christian, thank you for posting. We have some items on the backlog around the configuration page so I will add this idea.
Further consideration needs to be given to the UI on how a user would define which artifacts are present within this menu.
Thanks again
