I would likt to see project defined stages, wich can be reused in different configurations.
A real world scenario is that the build stage can be very complex and is the same about different configuartions. The configurations differs in the deployment stage.
If the build-process changes it must be adapted to all configurations. It would be much easier to do this once.

We do have plans to provide configuration templates containing a set of stages, variables, repositories, triggers etc. to base a configuration on. We don’t however have a time-scale for this functionality at the moment.
Stage-level templates are also a good idea and I have added this to our to-do list for consideration. For now, the best option is to clone the first configuration, and adapt the each clone as required.
