FB7 doesn't seem to have any problem with me including FB6 project files. Everything seems to work as expected. My question is can I expect any problems to this approach as we ease into the upgrade of FB7? Or could this cause issues?
It should work fine… the FB6 project does get modified slightly when loading (due to the variable type changes) however as long as you don’t use the Save project action in your included project it should be ok.
