FB6 crashes when searching in options dialog

Steps to reproduce:

1.  In the Finalbuilder 6 IDE, choose Tools/Options

2.  In the Search Box, type "re" , without quotes.

I've encountered this with other letter combinations as well

I can’t reproduce this here. What build are you using? What other combinations trigger the error, and can you send us a stack trace (or any other details about the crash).

Hi Tate,

Thanks for the reply. I wish there was a stack trace to send. The app just freezes for a couple of seconds, then closes with no error message. Is there some log or debugging switch that I can turn on? I’m using 6.0.0.648. I don’t recall off-hand which other combinations caused the problem. If I can find some more I’ll post them.

Please try this build :

https://www.finalbuilder.com/downloads/finalbuilder/610/FB610_880.exe

Run it with the following command line parameter : -LOGEXCEPTIONS

When it crashes, open an explorer window and type %temp% in the address bar. You should (hopefully) find an exceptions.txt file, if so please send that to support at finalbuilder dot com.

Sadly, no exceptions.txt file was generated. Please let me know if there’s anything else you’d like me to try.

I suspect it might be something in your project that is causing the crash. See if you can narrow it down to an action or set of actions. I’m not sure what else to suggest at this stage, sorry.
