I am not sure this would be considered a bug but when I try to save options I get messages that an error occured writing to Finalbuilder.ini. Please see the attached jpg files. Our work policies require that I try to do my work as user with limited rights on the computer. I get these errors when I work using the Limited User Rights. If I sign on as an admin to the machine I do not get these errors. I would like to set permissions to files and so that my normal user account has permission to write to the file but cannot find it. Can you tell me where it is?
Hi Bob
There are two FinalBuilderX.ini Files, the user one is under C:\Document and settings\USER\Application Data\FinalBuilderX
The machine one is under C:\Document and settings\All Users\Application Data\VSoft\FinalBuilderX
The machine in generally holds settings that apply to all users on the machine, such as the location of the compilers etc.
HTH
Vincent,
Many thanks, that fixed the problem.
Now for something that has nothing to do with Finalbuilder or Vsoft...
'THE WINDOWS XP SEARCH FUNCTION SUCKS!!!'
I apologize for yelling but could not hold it in any longer.

RE: Searching in Windows Vista
As long as DIR /S/B still works, I guess I will have to keep using it.
