Failed to initialise Team Foundation server connection

Hi,

I am using Visual Studio 2008, TFS 2005 and FinalBuilder 6.0.0.574
When I run a TFS Team build, which include a FinalBuilder project, I receive the following error:

error : Failed to initialise Team Foundation server connection : TF214015: The build client object model does not support Team Foundation Server 2005.

I receive this error before the actions in the FinalBuilder project are executed.

Does this mean that the integration of Finalbuilder 6 is not supported for TFS2005?

Hi Geert,

Thanks for reporting this. The plugin is meant to automatically detect if it is running on a TFS 2005 or a 2008 server. However, it appears there is a bug when the server machine has both TFS 2005 and Visual Studio 2008 installed concurrently.

I have a fix available here, there should be a test build available shortly (I’ll let youk now.)
