Export run log fails

At the end of our nightly build we perform an export of our run log.

For some reason it sometimes fails one time.

Running it again does the job.

Export Run Log File (NXDailyBuild.Success.log.html)
    Status: Error
      Date: 8/30/2010
      Time: 04:31:32:205
       End: 04:31:59:766
  Duration: 00:00:27:561

Action Messages:
Exporting log to file: C:\Temp\NX\NXDailyBuild\NXDailyBuild.QA.Success.log.html
Error Exporting Log : Failed to load XML file D:\Profiles\amyjw\LOCALS~1\Temp\FB6FC5.tmp
 

The file: FB6FC5.tmp is available and seems to be fine.

Any idea why this is happening?

Hi

Can you provide more information, such as the FB version/build, settings on the export action, how is the build being run (manually, scheduled, via FB server?). FWIW we’ve been using the export log action extensively here every day with FB7 while building regression tests and haven’t seen this issue.

I use version 7.0.0.610

We also use this functionality extensively and never had any problems with it.
It occured a few day’s ago for the first time and its’ not always the case.
It works fine for a few day’s and then it apears with no specific reason what so ever.

When the problem occures and I rerun the action it works just fine.
I’ve been thinking that maybe the log file is locked at the moment or something like that.
