I had a situation where all our build machines went down. I brought them all back up, but the ones using the centralized management server kept reporting they couldn’t establish a connection with the FinalBuilder Server. I tried stopping both build and logging service and the webserver. The only way it would come back up is to reboot the build machine. Is there anyway to have the server gracefully recover from loss of connection to the management server?

The build service and web site should gracefully recover from loss of connection to the management service (tested here and works as expected). If you find yourself in the same situation again could you look through the Windows Event Log and send in any entries that were reported from either the build service or the web site, we may be able to determine what’s going on by looking through those.
