Building VB6 Project from a remote machine

I'm new to FinalBuilder and I'm attempting to build a VB6 Project on a different machine on the network. I ran the Import VB6 Project Group wizard and configured the VB6 Project properties. When I run the compiler in FinalBuilder, I get the following error message in the Build Log:

The project file '\\wlcsc0172\c$\Project\FBTemp.vbp' contains invalid 'Type' key value.

One or more of the properties in '\\wlcsc0172\c$\ProjectFBTemp.vbp' was bad. Some or all of the properties might not be set correctly.

The project 'type' should be "ActiveX DLL." I can't figure out how to change this in FinalBuilder.

Could someone please help me shed some light on this?

Can you see if this is because it’s running from a UNC path, or FB is generating invalid options - see if you can run the project from a local drive, and if that doesn’t work can you send us your project file and we’ll check it out (send to support at finalbuilder dot com)

Thanks for your response Tate. I've copied the files to the C drive and it still brings up the same error. Is there a better way for FinalBuilder to build files on another server?

Oisze - I just wanted to see if the problem was related to building from files on a different server… so obviously they aren’t, so must be some kind of problem with the VB6 compiler action. Can you send me the relevant files for us to reproduce this and I’ll look into the problem (send to support at finalbuilder.com), thanks.
