We recently updated to FinalBuilder version 6.3.0.1506 (I do not recall the version we were previously using but it was perhaps at least a few months old).
Prior to updating, the Build VS.Net Solution action would properly set the File Version information in the executables when the 'Update Assembly Info for .NET projects' and 'Use Property Set for Version Info' settings were checked on the '.NET Version' tab.
After updating, this is no longer happening. When I look at the executable's file version information, it simply shows 0.0.0.0. The assembly version information is correct.
We have not changed our scripts. We believe it is a bug introduced into FinalBuilder with the latest update (or an update soon prior to the latest).
Can you help?
We need the File Version info to be set to the same thing as the Assembly Version info because we rely on this information to tell what version of our executables are distributed to our servers. This is what used to be happening.
Thanks.
