It's been over a month since the last beta build, so I though I would take the time to update you on the status of the product.
We have had some dev team attrition over the last six weeks, and that has slowed us down considerably. We have some new devs who started a few weeks ago and they are getting up to speed with the project and we are starting to make progress again.
We have been testing and fixing issues, improving the installer, testing performance and scalability. We have also been working on better ways to test the product, we now have a suite of powershell cmdlets for testing the server, and this is paying off quite nicely (already found and fixed a few issues using powershell).
We have also been reworking the version control repository support, it was not as robust as it needed to be, so every repository type has been retested and fixed to make sure validation etc works correctly.
We are now working towards a new beta build, I can't say exactly when it will be ready but it is close.
Note that the next beta will require starting fresh as we have made so many changes since the last beta that it was not possible to add migration code for all of them. This should not happen again, the changes were unfortunate but necessary to resolve a performance issue.
