Beta 1.0.0.1080 is available for download.

What's new/changed in this beta

Authentication Modes - Now supports Forms, LDAP and Mixed (forms and ldap) modes. We have tried to make sure the installer takes care of upgrading earlier betas, if you experience issues with the upgrade post here and we'll try and resolve any issues. The main issues will be with IIS, if you were using ldap before, the installer should configure the website for forms authentication, and create a new virtual directory/application called WindowsAuthentication. We have also done a lot of work to make the installer preserve existing app.config settings, however we recommend you backup your database as a precaution before installing this update. 

Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue with agents where the server would sometimes fail a build as it thought the agent had gone offline. 
Peformance improvements - we spent the last few weeks doing stress testing, this has resulted in some nice performance improvements (there are still more areas we have identified where we can improve over time), we have also been ​working on upset recovery (deliberately stopping the agent or server in the middle of builds to see what happens!) and the error handling code has had some major work.  

NOTE : The minimum agent version has been updated, you will need to update all agent installations.   

Download removed due to regression bug. This build has been replaced by a newer build.


Feedback needed


We are getting close to release now, however we particularly need feedback on the ldap/mixed authentication support. We rewrote the authentication part of Continua over the last 6 weeks, in particular to allow for mixed mode, but also because of major issues with the previous implementation of our ldap support. If you use ldap or mixed mode, let us know how it goes. We've been using the ldap support on our build server for the last week with no issues.

We are continuing to work on new features which will be introduced in point releases, however at this time we are feature complete for version 1.00 - we still welcome suggestions for enhancements or features.
