We have a lot of build machines as VMWare Images. When booting up the VMWare a "masterbuild.fbp4" script is started with windows autostart. This masterbuild decides using a database entry wich special build has to run on the VMWare Image.
On one VMWare machine we want to switch from FB4 to FB5, but it is not possible to run the script with the autostart.
When I start the command in a cmd window, nothing happens.
"C:\Programme\FinalBuilder 5\FinalBuilder5.exe" /n /e /r C:\BuildCenter\masterbuild.fbp4
If I try a fbp5 script, it works. But I must use the fbp4 script, until all scripts for the 25 VMWare Images are converted to FB 5 and tested out.
Any Idea to solve the problem?

Hi Michael,
You should be able to use FBCMD version 5 to run a FinalBuilder 4 project. Alternatively, I’d suggest downloading the latest FinalBuilder 4.2 release and using that until you can convert the projects.

the main reason to switch from FB4 to FB5 is to compile Delphi 2007 Projects. The FB420_317.exe has no Action for Delphi 2007, so we must use FB5.
Is it planned to implement a Delphi 2007 action into FB4?
I’ll try to use FBCMD version 5 on the Buildmachine which must compile the new Delphi 2007 projects.

Sorry, there are no plans to implement D2007 support in FB4.
re: reply email. This normally works - make sure your email address is set correctly, and that your spam filter isn’t rejecting them (I think they come from admin@finalbuilder.com).

using FBCMD version 5 works with fbp4 projects, so we can migrate step for step from FB4 to FB5.
My email address is set correctly, spam filter isn’t rejecting the mails.
No problems to get mails from salesinfo@vsoft-tech.com.au
Can you check if mails were sent out to my email adress?

We don’t have any logs of what emails were sent, and we haven’t received any bounce notifications for your address. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing and see if that works.
