I’m running FB 5.0.0.60 on Windows XP Sp2.
All authenticode actions started to fail today. The error message is:
Error loading certificate file : Fehler beim Laden der Typbibliothek/DLL
(Error loading certificate file : error loading type library/DLL)
This error started to happen after I installed the Microsoft Patches from today.
I already recreated my PFX file but still get this error.
Please help.
Try reinstalling FinalBuilder as it installs the CapiCom.dll file.

Check to see if your certificates have expired. We had a similar problem recently and the capicom.dll didn’t actually report that the cert had expired, just refused to load it.

Build 86 fixed the authenticode problem but introduced a new.
All my projects are under version control. I have checked all options for
version control in Tools/Options/Finalbuilder/Source Control Options.
If I open a project (which is checked in) FB fails and displays a MessageBox:
Unable to load project.
Error: Log file is read only: path\projekt.fbp5
In fact, only project.fbp5 is read only, the other project files are checked out and read write.
This worked in Build 60.
