There doesn't seem to be a way to actually opt out of giving the anonymous usage stats. At best you can say "ask later", but then you just get asked the next time you run FB.

[It's not that I really mind giving the stats, it's that I'm not using FB in a typical way at all atm and didn't want to pollute your stats...]
There’s a checkbox in the prompt dialog which says “Yes, I’m happy for this information to be sent…”. If you uncheck it and click OK, you’ll never be asked again.
FWIW, I don’t think you should be self-censoring yourself out of the monthly usage stats. We’re getting a lot of submissions, and I don’t see how your usage is any less valid than anyone else’s.
Ah - that checkbox is confusingly labelled. I understood that unchecking the box and pressing ok would send the stats, but not do it automatically every month - in other words, it would ask me again next month. The basic question is along the lines of "Do you want to send this info’, so it’s weird to press OK when you don’t want to send it.
I was actually writing the documentation for the subversion actions, so I had a project full of every possible subversion action. That’s what I meant by a non-typical scenario…
