The IDE has madSHI 3 automated crash reporting which is great. What would be nice is to have the ability to use the IDE / server web interface to report a feature / bug. This could still go to the forums if you did not want to clag FogBUGZ. It would have the benefit of gathering all the necessary version information that makes a report easier to diagnose.

the problem with that is when a bug causes a madexcept dialog to show… the application is possibly in a state where it is unstable and needs to be restarted. We also don’t want stack traces posted on the forums (give h@ckers too much information).

In terms of h@ckers..... There is no call stack to send. I want to report a feature / bug from within the application just as I would submit a post to the forums. This is not in response to an application crash, it is something I initiate. Also to further insulate from miscreants out there, encrypt what is sent to a no reply email address.
