Email Publisher keeps loosing settings [Continua 1.8.1.529]

Hello,

We are running Continua 1.8.1.529

Whenever we try and configure an Email Publisher under Administration > Notifications > Publishers, our settings then do not seem to “stick”. After a while, it appears the Email Publisher has been reset and our settings (server address, from email, etc) are gone.

When we enter new settings and then click Validate, everything is well. Until a few clicks later.

The Subscription that is linked to our Email Publisher is supposed to notify us on a build error. Because the Email Publisher settings are constantly reset, we never receive such notification.

Is this a known problem?

It’s not a known issue. I just checked all our Continua CI instances (production and test environments) and non of them have lost their settings. Is there anything in the windows eventlog on the server?

We have reproduced the issue here and are working on a fix. We are currently uncertain as to why caching is causing this to occur. Once we have fully determined why the issue is occurring we will get you a build.
