I’m new to the FinalBuilder API and I’m playing around with it today. The calls don’t seem to require the authentication token at all.
I have two scripts, getAuthenticationtoken and getProjectStatus.
I can run getAuthenticationToken with a username/password and get a different authentication token every time. If I put any of those tokens into my 2nd script it will return the status of a project. If I put ‘fake’ as my authentication token it returns the status of the project. If I remove the Authentication Token node entirely, it returns the status of my project.
I’ve only tested with the getProjectStatus so far, but it seemed strange. Is that node not really required?
I’m guessing here that you are talking about FinalBuilder Server? It was discontinued 3 years ago, and we no longer support or update it. I recommend that you look at migrating to Continua CI - https://www.finalbuilder.com/continua-ci which replaces FinalBuilder Server.
