Changing the parameter order for the LdapTest -tool didn’t help. It still reported the Unknown argument -error.
I’ll try the logging suggestion as soon as possible.
Hi,
We tried the suggestion of enabling the diagnostics application at debug level.
Unfortunately this was bit unhelpful, as despite the Diagnostics logging numerous items concerning for example repository updates and agent registrations there appeared no entries whatsoever concerning any login attempts via browser.
This was tested with both Firefox and Chrome and with cookies etc. cleared.
Hi Ollie,
I’ve fixed and uploaded a new http://downloads.finalbuilder.com/downloads/continua/beta/ldaptest.zip. I rushed it out yesterday without checking that it was reading all the arguments correctly.
Hi,
I downloaded the LdapTest.zip, but unfortunately it behaves as the last one did - “Unknown argument: qpr.com”
I suspect that you have downloaded a cached copy of the old file. Can you try this renamed version: http://downloads.finalbuilder.com/downloads/continua/beta/ldaptest2.zip
Hi,
I got the test application to work now and it generated large logs (1700 and 700 kilobytes for non-container and container based tests respectively).
However it would seem that it iterated basically thru the entire AD successfully, including the designated administrators group. I failed to find any references to any issues within the logs (ie. searching for terms like error, exception, fail).
However even if the LDAP/AD part appears to be working we’re unable to sign in to Continua still. As noted in my message earlier the system does not appear to register the login attempt in any way in logs.
Hi Olli
Please try this build, Dave found something today which may or may not be related to the login issue, he also change the error reporting for authorisation issues to be more informative :
http://downloads.finalbuilder.com/downloads/continua/beta/ContinuaCI.Server.Setup_1.0.0.1157.exe
http://downloads.finalbuilder.com/downloads/continua/beta/ContinuaCI.Server.Setup_x64_1.0.0.1157.exe
Hi,
I’m happy to report that the latest build (1157) appears to be working for us. It still did not log anything concerning the log in attempt, but the log in worked now.
Hi Olli
That’s good news!
