Build VS.Net Solution : Auto select version from solution

Hi,

I have been testing an upgrade to VS2013. I changed the FinalBuilder project to VS2013 and unselected “Auto select version from solution”.

This morning I had to add an action to our current Production FinalBuilder project. All the Build VS.Net Solution actions were set to VS2013 and the auto select option unchecked.

Did FinalBuilder do this somehow? I didn’t touch these actions.

Hi Dave,

What version of FinalBuilder are you currently using, and are the Visual Studio solutions referenced by the FinalBuilder “Build VS.Net Solution” actions VS 2013 solutions?

FB 7.0.0.2745

The beta work I am doing is VS2013.

The work I did on our Production FB project is VS2010. The “auto select” should have been checked for all the VS.Net actions.

Hi Dave,

In testing here (using the latest version of FinalBuilder) the only times the version of Visual Studio is selected for you in the dialog are in the following cases;

- The project is selected from the open solution dialog.
- The project currently selected is refreshed. Clicking the refresh button next to the folder button for the Solution File does this.
- The VS.NET Version is changed directly.

The version of FinalBuilder I am testing against here is the latest release, FinalBuilder 7.0.0.2795. Have you been able to reproduce this behaviour? If so which version of FinalBuilder were you able to reproduce it in, and what were the steps you used?
