Control VMWare/VirtualPC

Hello,

my builds are created using Finalbuilder running on a Virtual PC with XP Mode. It contains several Delphi versions, SVN and, of course, Finalbuilder. The finalbuilder project checks out sources, generates PDF documentation, builds packages, executes DUnit tests and finally zips everything. Until now I manually started the build process. Everything is working great and I really have to say: I love finaluilder.

Now I thought to try Continua. I do not want to install it inside the virtual machine but within the host. Is there any way for continua to start the virtual machine if it's not running and trigger any action (maybe sort of agent or so) to start the Finalbuilder build process within that virtual machine?

Thanks,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
We have a similar setup (FinalBuilder running in VMware) and I’m wondering whether you tried Continua. What are your experiences, what do you recommend. Should we rather stick with FinalBuilder Server?

Many thanks
Martin
