When the condition for a stage gate is not met and the build fails because of it it is not immediately obvious from the configuration view why.
If the stage fails for some other reason it will be marked as failed and clicking it will take you to the log.
It would be nice to have something similar when a stage condition was not met.

Clicking on the build number will currently take you to the build details page which will show the reason for failure. We agree however that we could do more to make this more obvious. It’s on the to-do list.
