When I perform a get latest from finalbuilder it seems that it doesn't get all the files but when I get latest from visual studio it will. I don't understand how there is any difference. From finalbuilder I am getting latest from the project and from VS2005 I'm getting latest from the solution. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Jason,

Are all the files in the VS solution contained within the project? Do you have the Recursive option set in the FinalBuilder VSS Get action?

Hi Jason,

I’m not really sure, although this sounds like some kind of strange VSS behaviour.

Some ideas:

1) In FB, do you have Replace Writable set to “Skip”? If so, are any of the files Writable?

2) This link has some troubleshooting issues for the opposite case (VS2005 doesn’t get latest on files)

Some of the suggestions (comparison method, cache files) may be the root of your problem, I’m not sure.

Regards,

Angus
