# Variables Editor

The Variables Editor under Project/Variables is a modal dialog. If I'm modifing a variable and closing the editor I'm asked "You have unsaved changes, close anyway?". Since there is no save button in the editor the question doesn't make sense of am I missing something?

Hi Roman   
  
 This bug has been fixed recently. This message will now only be shown if you have made changes to variables and attempt to close the Variable Editor via the X rather than the OK button.

many thanks for your answer. The update solves the issue. :-)

Another short question: I checked the IDE fpr the latest update but it didn't show the 1147 version. Any reason for this?

 You will only be notified about official versions which we release via the downloads page. The build I have provided you is a test build. We release official updates regularly to bundle up features/bug fixes/improvements.
